Yes, I know, I fly through obsessions rather quickly. But, my new one, thank you, Kaylyn, is this book:
I picked it up yesterday, and can't seem to put it down. It'll take a lot of work to incorporate this in my daily cooking, but I'm going to DO IT!! The recipes seem fairly simple, and stuff my kids will love to eat. I have to admit, that pureeing all those veggies and fruits are going to be quite the undertaking. My first goal is to get a food processor. I've been REALLY wanting one for a few years, but I never want to spend the money. I'm jealous that Kaylyn found one for $5.00! I think it'll be a great investment, though. I totally have the time, too, since the kids are in school all day. I can't wait to get started! I'll let you know how my first meal goes over. I'm going to make french toast tomorrow morning. It calls for your choice of pureed banana or pineapple, sweet potato or carrot or butternut squash. Sounds interesting. French toast is our favorite breakfast here and I can't wait to try this. Wish me luck!!

Totally getting this book. Aidan and I broke out the food processor last night and literally ran out of things to chop up. It is so fun!!!! Glad you checked it out. I think I'll do a library try out first.
I just bought this book today!!!! Can't wait to try it out...it will be great for our Biggest Loser Challenge!! We think alike alot. :)
Oh- and don't be jealous! Just check out your local Goodwill or thrift store- they always have one around somewhere!!
I mentioned that I got a food processor to my coworker who is a nutritionist extraordinare (she is opening a raw foods restaraunt), and the very first thing that came out of her mouth was: You gotta check out this book! I think it's official.
After looking at this book at your house today, I think it is great! I will have to buy it!! I am also in search of a food processor now (:
definitely get a food processor! I love ours..although I will admit that it takes me awhile every time to get it to work...as every piece must be locked which I somehow can't seem to grasp :)
I must say that my chef hubby is so against this book, as he feels it does not teach children how to eat their veggies, but I am all for pumping up the nutrition in anything :)
